The word REVOLT has been in my Spirit this morning.
revolt (from Google dictionary)
/rɪˈvəʊlt/ - noun - 1) an attempt to end the authority of a person or body by rebelling;
2) a refusal to continue to obey or conform.
I heard the Holy Spirit say, "It's time to REVOLT AGAINST FEAR!"
Friends, the power of fear in your life comes to an END, right now, in Jesus MIGHTY name! It is time to stand against that spirit, and no longer obey its commands that shut you up, hold you back, keep you down and keep you out of both your destiny and out of love!
Galatians 2:20 - "I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me."
1 John 4:4 - "Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world."
It is Christ in you - the One who holds ALL power and authority over ALL powers and dominions - who is greater than any spirit of fear, doubt or terror.
"...having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and what is the immeasurable greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to the working of his great might that he worked in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and above every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come. And he put all things under his feet and gave him as head over all things to the church..." - Ephesians 1:18-22
Jesus has ALL authority.
The kind of fear to revolt against does not come from God. It comes from a place without hope, without promise and without joy - it comes from the darkest parts of hell. But we know that the Kingdom of God consists of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost (Romans 14:17). Fear is a liar, and comes from what Jesus calls in John 8 the father of lies!
Today, I hear the Lord calling us to REVOLT AGAINST FEAR. It is not part of our Kingdom. It is not part of the new nature of one who is born again. If Jesus is in you, YOU are the dominant Spirit because greater is He in you.
Let's refuse to obey fear. Let's put to an END any power it has in our lives, and give all attention to Jesus, the One who has TRUE AUTHORITY and shares it with us!
It's time to rise up and REVOLT!
